What is Peg?

Peg is the auction technology that powers The Rush Market auction experience.

How do I create an account?

Simply sign up using your mobile phone number - no username or password required. You can start browsing immediately after your account is set up!

Is Peg free to use?

Yes! Creating an account and browsing auctions is completely free. You only pay when you win an auction.

How do auctions work?

Most auctions run for 1 to 7 days. You can place bids throughout the auction period, and the highest bidder wins when time expires.

Customers can set a maximum bid, and the system automatically places incremental bids on their behalf up to that maximum. Bid increments scale dynamically based on the current bid price. You can view more details here: Learn More.

What happens after I win an auction?

Auction winnings are automatically charged to your default payment method during an overnight process. You will receive an order confirmation email when this happens.

Delivery Items
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email when your item is on its way.

Pick Up Items
You'll receive a "Ready for Pick Up" notification when your items are ready. You have 14 days to pick up your items at the specified pick up location. Visit the individual product page for pick up details.

Can I buy items immediately without bidding?

Yes! Many items have an "Add to Cart" option that lets you purchase immediately at a set price.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently we accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and other methods coming soon.

Why can't I place bids?

In order to place bids you must complete the following:

Sign up for an account and complete the setup process
Add a valid default payment method
Enable auto-checkout

If you completed all of the above then you could have a failed or expired payment method as your default, or your last auto-checkout attempt may have failed. Visit your Account Wallet for details or contact support for assistance.

What is the return policy?

All sales are final.

In general, we do not accept returns of Peg auction items. Some of our Pick Up partners may have alternative policies, so please check those policies before ordering. Feel free to contact us if you have questions about this policy.

Cancellation Policy:

If you wish to cancel your order a 20% restocking fee ($3 minimum) per item will be applied.

What is the pick up policy & hours?

After order placement, you will be notified via email when your order is ready to be picked up. Orders are usually ready within 1-3 days. Pop in during regular store hours and let us know you are here to pick up your order. Please have your order number ready.

Please inspect your purchase carefully before leaving the store, as all sales are final. You have 14 days from being notified to come pick up your order before those items will be put back in stock and your order will be forfeited. If you need more time, please contact us.

Rush Market Pick Up Hours
Monday – Friday: 10am – 7pm
Saturday: 10am – 6pm
Sunday: 12pm – 6pm

What is the Rush Market return policy?

All sales are final.

Please inspect your items carefully before leaving the store. Once purchased items leave our premises, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for any reason, including damage.
